About

Hi, I’m Jennifer. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a passion for the automobile. Growing up in a family with several car enthusiasts, I wasn’t afraid to help turn wrenches under the hood.

During high school, I discovered a love for writing and decided to pursue a career in automotive journalism. In college, I managed to confuse every academic adviser I had as I majored in journalism and minored in mechanical engineering technology. After I explained it to them, they understood. For the most part.

During college, I landed an internship, and later a full-time position as a copy editor, at a now-defunct publication called Automobile Quarterly. I later found myself working at Car and Driver and Cars.com, and I’ve freelanced for other outlets, including Allpar (before it became a message board).

I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and work on my own cars, even if the task seems intimidating — which, if you've found me on here, you're probably already aware of. I also enjoy attending the local cars and coffee events and racing events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed, and 24 Hours of Daytona.

Thanks for sliding into the passenger seat and coming along for the ride, and I hope you enjoy the automotive shenaniganry I have with my personal fleet of vehicles.
